BARABOM SKIN CLINIC · WIRYE, SEONGNAM
Facial volume, considered area by area.
Cheeks, lips, the chin and facial folds contribute differently to balance. Your dermatologist examines the source of hollowing, existing filler and surrounding tissue before deciding where to place volume.
Plan your visit
Share your arrival and departure dates at consultation. Timing and recovery depend on the treatment and your skin.
- What one visit can cover
- Assessment and treatment of a selected area can take place in one visit when appropriate. The amount is planned for that area and the whole face, with time reserved for post-treatment instructions.
- Expected recovery signs
- Swelling, bruising and tenderness can follow injection; lumps or asymmetry can also occur. Early swelling can change the apparent shape. Allow time for recovery and clinical review rather than judging the result immediately.
- When changes may appear
- Added volume can be visible immediately, while the settled appearance is assessed after swelling subsides. The timing depends on the area, product and your response.
- Further visits
- Arrange a follow-up plan around your departure date. An in-person check may be needed for shape, swelling or symptoms; further treatment is decided after review. A short stay may limit the treatment that can be responsibly planned.
- Questions after you return home
- For routine follow-up, message @barabomskin with your treatment date, treated area and symptoms. Contact +82 31 778 7582 for the clinic. Severe or increasing pain, pale or dusky skin, or vision changes require immediate local emergency assessment; do not wait for a DM reply.
Areas and balance
Cheeks and temples: assess volume loss and support. Nasolabial or marionette folds: examine the surrounding face as well as the fold. Lips and chin: consider movement, proportion and profile.
Under-eye and nasal areas need particular attention to anatomy and risk. A listed treatment area is not a decision that filler is suitable for you.
One visit includes a follow-up plan
Bring the names and dates of previous fillers and other facial treatments. Before injection, discuss your travel date, expected visible recovery and how a review can be arranged after you return home.
Blood-vessel blockage is a rare but serious filler complication. Urgent symptoms need immediate medical care. Dissolving treatment for hyaluronic-acid filler does not reverse every problem.
