Identify the pigment before choosing the laser.
PicoSure Pro is part of our pigmentation practice. A distinct sun spot and mixed facial pigmentation need different treatment plans, settings and recovery time. Tattoo removal is a separate service.
Plan your visit
Share your arrival and departure dates at consultation. Timing and recovery depend on the treatment and your skin.
- What one visit can cover
- A consultation and selected pigment treatment can take place in one visit after the lesion is assessed. PicoSure Pro spot treatment may start with one session; mixed pigmentation programmes are planned over repeated visits.
- Expected recovery signs
- Targeted spot treatment can leave darkening, crusting and a visible dressing. Our PicoSure Pro spot protocol uses a hydrocolloid dressing for two weeks, followed by four weeks of prescribed aftercare. Post-inflammatory pigmentation can occur.
- When changes may appear
- The treated spot changes as it heals. Darkening can recur around a month and then fade gradually; assessment continues beyond the first two weeks. This is not a promise of complete clearance in one session.
- Further visits
- The spot-treatment configuration includes a soothing-care visit after two weeks. Additional treatment depends on lesion depth and response. If you leave sooner, agree the dressing, aftercare and local review arrangements before treatment.
- Questions after you return home
- For routine follow-up, message @barabomskin with your treatment date, treated area and symptoms. Contact +82 31 778 7582 for the clinic. Worsening pain, spreading redness, discharge or a healing concern needs medical assessment locally after travel.
PicoSure Pro: individual spots
PicoSure Pro uses a 755 nm picosecond laser. The dermatologist examines the colour, border and thickness of a lesion, including surrounding melasma, before selecting settings. A changing or uncertain lesion needs diagnosis before cosmetic treatment.
Skin tone and mixed pigmentation
Melasma, sun spots and post-inflammatory pigmentation can overlap. Facial pigmentation programmes use a repeated-treatment plan adapted to the diagnosis and skin response. Their fees and recovery differ from direct spot treatment.
Sun protection and the prescribed aftercare remain part of the treatment plan after you return home.
Tattoo removal is separate
Tattoo pigment needs a different assessment and session plan. Tattoo-removal treatment and fees are not included in this skin-tone guide.
