BARABOM SKIN CLINIC · WIRYE, SEONGNAM
Lifting and firmness begin with a different question.
Ulthera PRIME and Thermage FLX lead our lifting and tightening options. Dr. Sanggeun Lee assesses the layers involved, your facial volume and the change you want before selecting a device.
Plan your visit
Share your arrival and departure dates at consultation. Timing and recovery depend on the treatment and your skin.
- What one visit can cover
- One consultation and a selected device session can take place during one visit after assessment. The treatment area and shot count are planned together; combinations are a separate decision.
- Expected recovery signs
- Redness, swelling and tenderness can follow energy treatment. Bruising or altered sensation can occur. Recovery differs by device, intensity and area; plan some flexibility around important events.
- When changes may appear
- Changes develop gradually. For Thermage FLX, collagen-related changes are usually assessed over 1–3 months. Ulthera PRIME also develops over time; the course for each device is discussed separately.
- Further visits
- A single session is one treatment option. A clinical review or additional treatment may be needed according to your response; agree the follow-up plan before leaving Korea.
- Questions after you return home
- For routine follow-up, message @barabomskin with your treatment date, treated area and symptoms. Contact +82 31 778 7582 for the clinic. Seek prompt local medical assessment for severe pain, blistering or worsening symptoms.
Ulthera PRIME · Thermage FLX
Ulthera PRIME (Ultherapy PRIME) uses focused ultrasound. The consultation considers where the skin and supporting tissues have loosened, and how much facial volume should be preserved.
Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency energy for skin firmness. We assess skin thickness and laxity before choosing the area and shot distribution. The two treatments address different aspects of a lifting plan.
Density · Serf · Tensurma · Alltite
These devices give us further options for an energy-based lifting or tightening plan. Density Noir is offered with Classic and Alpha tips. The device, tip, treatment area and recovery expectations are discussed as a complete plan.
More shots or more devices do not define the right plan. Your dermatologist first distinguishes loose skin from volume loss and explains which part of your concern each treatment addresses.

Questions from the consultation room
What should I mention if a previous RF treatment was painful?
Tell us which treatment you had, where it felt painful, and which tip was used if you know. Dr. Lee considers that experience together with your current facial volume and skin thickness when discussing options.
Should I tolerate a hot or painful sensation during treatment?
Tell the clinician immediately. Sensations can differ by treatment area, including areas close to bone. The clinician can reassess the settings and how treatment proceeds.
Does every area receive the same number of shots?
No. Dr. Lee assesses where skin is lax and where facial volume should be preserved. The distribution is planned for your face rather than divided equally across all areas.
Do I have to use numbing cream for Alltite?
We normally apply numbing cream before Alltite. Because the treatment tends to cause relatively little discomfort, you can proceed without it if you prefer not to use it or find the cream uncomfortable. Pain sensitivity varies, so please discuss your preference before treatment.
